License Plate

It's easier than ever to show your Saint Mary's College spirit with out Indiana specialty license plate! Indiana residents can now handle the entire specialty plate request or renewal process directly through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. You NO LONGER need an authorization form.

Whether you need to purchase a new Saint Mary's specialty license place or renew your current one, you can go online to myBMV.com or to the license branch to handle the transaction. The cost of the Saint Mary's plate includes a $25 tax-deductible contribution that will directly benefit the College. Please make sure to authorize the Bureau of Motor Vehicles to share your name with Saint Mary's.

10th Annual Christian Culture Lecture to Feature Philosopher Martha C. Nussbaum
Saint Mary’s College’s Department of Humanistic Studies is proud to present the 10th annual Christian Culture Lecture. This year’s speaker is world-renowned, award-winning philosopher Martha C. Nussbaum. The University of Chicago professor of philosophy and law will present her lecture, titled “Anger and Revolutionary Justice,” on Wednesday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. in O’Laughlin Auditorium with a book signing and reception to follow. Saint Mary's to Host South Bend Premiere of
Saint Mary’s College is proud to host the South Bend premiere of the documentary “A Team of Their Own,” on Monday, October 26, at 7 p.m. in Carroll Auditorium, Madeleva Hall. The Department of Athletics, the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies, and the Office of Campus and Community Events will host the film, which features the history of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL), including the South Bend Blue Sox. Saint Mary’s Position in U.S. News Rankings Moves up to 82 from 96
Saint Mary's College remains in the top 100 of the highest ranked colleges in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best National Liberal Arts Colleges list, which was released today. The College has been in the top 100 for seven years running, this year coming in at 82 out of at least 235 liberal arts colleges. Access to the national rankings can be found beginning today online or printed in the new “Best Colleges 2016” guidebook, available online and in stores later this month. Read More
Saint Mary's College President Carol Ann Mooney to retire in May 2016
President Carol Ann Mooney announced today that she plans to retire as Saint Mary's College’s 11th president. She will have led Saint Mary’s for 12 years as its first lay alumna president and solidified the College’s reputation as a leading liberal arts college. She will leave office when her contract ends on May 31, 2016. Read More
