Alumnae Association Awards

Saint Mary's College is please to announce the recipients of the annual awards given by the Alumnae Association of Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN. The recognitions were distributed Saturday, June 6, at the Reunion Banquet as part of Reunion weekend.

The following is the list of the awards and the recipients:
Alumnae Achievement Award: Anne Connolly '80
Distinguished Alumna Award: Pamela Carey Batz '70
Humanitas Award: Catherin Hammel Frischkorn '75
Outstanding Young Alumna Award: Janet Gay Horvath '00


One Book One Saint Mary's

Now, in its sixth year, the One Book One Saint Mary's program presents a book for reading, discussion, and dialog among alumnae, students, faculty, staff, and all members of the Saint Mary's College community.

License Plate

It's easier than ever to show your Saint Mary's College spirit with our Indiana specialty license plate! Indiana residents can now handle the entire specialty place request or renewal process directly through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Whether you need to purchase a new Saint Mary's specialty license place or renew your current one, you can go online to myBMV.com or to a licences branch to handle the transaction. The cost of the Saint Mary's plate includes a $25 tax-deductible contribution that will directly benefit the College. Please make sure to authorize the Bureau of Motor Vehicles to share your name with Saint Mary's.

Saint Mary's College President Carol Ann Mooney to retire in May 2016
President Carol Ann Mooney announced today that she plans to retire as Saint Mary's College’s 11th president. She will have led Saint Mary’s for 12 years as its first lay alumna president and solidified the College’s reputation as a leading liberal arts college. She will leave office when her contract ends on May 31, 2016. Read More
Saint Mary's Participating in Cultural Festival in DC
For the fourth summer, Saint Mary's College is hosting young women from the Middle East and North Africa. Saint Mary's faculty, staff and students will be in DC to welcome the participants and to attend various events. One of which is the Cultural Festival (Tuesday, June 30, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Melrose Hotel). We would love to see you. Saint Mary’s Hosts State Department International Women’s Institute for 4th Year
Saint Mary’s College is proud to announce that it will hold its fourth Global Women Leaders Institute, a U.S. Department of State Study of the U.S. Institute (SUSI). This summer’s SUSI welcomes 20 undergraduate women from Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, and Jordan, plus six Saint Mary’s students. Read More
On Sunday, July 19 Saint Mary's College will host it's second annual "Bloom for Girls" one-day seminar for middle school girls and their mom or guardian. Molly Schleeter Bell '97, a mother of a seven-year-old daughter, leads the program. Read More
