Do you know a Saint Mary's alumna who is a rising star, a business sensation, a distinguished academician, or has dedicated herself to service?
Each year the Alumnae Association honors deserving alumnae who have made significant contributions to the College or in her field. Please take a few minutes to nominate an alumna. Submit her name, class year, and a letter stating why you think she should receive an award. Supporting documents such as articles, letters from other classmates, or even from her colleagues is also beneficial. Nominations must be received by FEBRUARY 20, 2015. Graduate and non-graduate alumnae are eligible. To nominate someone, simply complete a form from the following link: http://alumnae.saintmarys.edu/awards

The alumnae of Saint Mary’s College are leaders in their professions, churches, and communities and many care for children and spouses. Some of our Saint Mary's women assume caregiving responsibilities for aging parents. How can we balance all of our caring commitments? How do we include ourselves in the compass of care? How does God’s Holy Spirit of love who dwells in our hearts (Rom 5:5) act through limited human creatures?
This retreat co-sponsored by the Alumnae Board, the Center for Spirituality, and Campus Ministry will explore these questions in the context of a weekend of prayer on the beautiful grounds of Saint Mary’s College.
Now in its fifth year, the One Book One Saint Mary's program presents a book for reading, discussion, and dialog among alumnae, students, faculty, staff, and all members of the Saint Mary's College community.
This years selection is Big Stone Gap, written by our very own Saint Mary's Alumna, Adriana Trigiani '81
